He studied LLB Law at the University of Johannesburg, graduating in 2010.
He did his 2 year articles at Danie van Zyl Attorneys in 2010. During his article period his main focus was litigation in criminal and labour matters. He was admitted as an attorney in 2012 where after he stayed on at the firm for another year. During this time he became a lecturer at the South African School Of Paralegal Studies.
He moved to Van Dyk & Theron Inc in 2013, where he was responsible for land claims matters, criminal and civil litigation.
In 2014 he started Maree Attorneys specializing in labour and criminal litigation.
